Leader In Me

Sindhi Model Senior Secondary School has launched a Vision of Leadership’ program for our young leaders in association with the Leader In Me initiative. Leader in Me is a whole-school transformation model that improves the performance of all school programs. Students, families, and staff learn how to be responsible, show initiative, be creative, set goals and meet them, get along with people of various backgrounds and cultures, resolve conflicts and solve problems.

GEETA BODHAAMRUTAM

Geeta chanting holds significant importance for students as it cultivates moral values, instils discipline, and enhances concentration. It promotes spiritual growth, fosters character development, and helps students imbibe timeless wisdom for leading a purposeful and balanced life.

Scouts/Guides

Our Scouts and Guides program offers an enriching experience where students develop leadership skills, teamwork, resilience, and a sense of adventure through outdoor activities, community service, and character-building initiatives.

RSP

As a part of the RSP, students engage in humanitarian activities, first aid training, and community service, fostering a spirit of empathy, compassion, and social responsibility. Students learn to make a difference in the lives of others, develop life-saving skills, and become agents of positive change in our school and beyond.

NCC

National Cadet Corps (NCC) in schools fosters discipline, leadership, and patriotism. It cultivates a sense of responsibility through military training, community service, and adventure activities, shaping well-rounded individuals.

Rotary Club

Additionally, the annual ‘Sindhu Times’ magazine showcases the school’s progress and features student contributions in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Sanskrit, spanning articles, travelogues, poems, stories and book reviews.
