The tangible objective of Education is not to craft a generation who understand only the language of technology but the real sense of Education is to shape today’s children with universal human and spiritual values free of acquisitiveness. Education is not mere accumulation of facts; it is preparation of life itself infused with wisdom and ethics which develops the personality of the students. Their character is moulded and mental skills are developed to help them cope with problems and challenges. Our aim is to make our students successful in life and also conscious of their duties and responsibilities.

It gives me immense pleasure as I take over as the Principal of this illustrious 45 year old citadel, I feel honoured and privileged to be part of an educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn. We are striving to help our students to discover, develop and define their talents – including their creative talents which can be developed while promoting the acquisition of content knowledge through approaches that encourage exploration and discovery rather than rote learning and automation.

Action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all are the Sustainable Development Goals, set by the global community for 2030 . The extent to which these goals will be realised will be governed by what happens in today’s classrooms. Education will be the key to integrate the requirements and interests of individuals, communities and nations within an equitable framework.

With an extensive and gratifying history of achievement in education behind us, we continue to move forward together with poise, pride and passion. Yet, in today’s world, no institution of repute and quality can afford to sit on its laurels. We are constantly striving to provide sound education and a holistic learning experience for life. Our aim is to teach students to LEARN, not just STUDY. Hence, we endeavour to travel beyond the boundaries of mere books. We now know that the future is intangible and unknown but the children in our hands are real and can be moulded. May the Almighty shower His blessings on us all and give us the strength to face all the challenges that come our way. God Bless…
